There is real depth to the facade of the Alamo in the night lights. In this particular shot the incandescent lights provide some radiance and a bit of warmth to what is an intrinsically sad and holy place (where so many valiant lives were lost). But the Alamo is, after all, a church, and despite the tragic events that unfolded within and around its walks, there is rest and peace and warmth on the inside.
