Shells 1 (Port Aransas, Texas)
Late on a summer’s day in Port Aransas, I decided I’d see what kind of detail I could find in the tiny shells along the shore. I took this photograph lying on the sand, right where the waves crash against the dry beach. The grey-and-white contrast of the spiral has always been interesting to me, and the broken sand dollars and fractured shell bits remind me of the Gulf coastline. Medium: Film
