Flamingo (New Orleans)
This photograph was taken at the Audubon Zoo in New Orleans, among a crowd of 50 or more flamingos. This was a split second among the bustling of the pink-feathered crowd and the continuous preening of the individuals that comprise it. I liked the arching of the neck and the arcs of the feathers, but this composition was barely my doing. It was just an accidentally well-framed moment, which seems sometimes to be what photography is all about. Medium: Film
