This hint of color was the end of a rainbow, much of the rest of the arc obscured by the clouds that danced around the mountaintops. Sunset was near, and darkness had already started setting in slowly on this side of our valley. The mountains' afternoon rains had passed and this tip of color was marking the close of another beautiful day.
