It was pouring rain in downtown Playa del Carmen. The beginnings of Tropical Storm Bill were passing overhead, and the rain on the streets reflected the candy store lights. There were a million different colors, a million different things to see, and inside it seemed hazy, drowning in cool white fluorescents.
